I began my media career in radio presentation, and over the last five years, have hosted shows on a variety of stations (commercial and BBC) across the UK
in every single timeslot - from breakfast to drivetime, mid-mornings to evenings - and overnights.
I've got experience of virtually every format going, too - from 'more music, less talk' to all-speech, I like to think also being an experienced journalist and former traffic and travel presenter makes me a reliable all-rounder in any given setting.

After spending my teenage years learning the ropes and knocking on doors, I got my first professional break in 2006 presenting
traffic and travel news for clients of Trafficlink (now INRIX), which saw me regularly appearing on stations like Talksport, Real Radio and Gold.
I then spent most of 2007 in the UK's most competitive radio market - London - hosting the afternoon show for a recently-relaunched commercial
station, before becoming the weekend breakfast host at KMFM in West Kent in 2008.
I then moved north, and became part of the launch
team of the then 106.5 Central Radio in Preston, before an run on afternoons for BBC Radio Cumbria. I currently regularly present the early breakfast sequence on BBC Radio Oxford in addition to my day-to-day role as morning newsreader there.

I've also dabbled in TV - hosting quizzes, music shows and news programmes - and even had a cameo role in a feature film a few years back, playing (predictably) a newsreader. Always best to play to your strengths, though...
